RSJ Engineering Sdn Bhd
RSJ Engineering Sdn Bhd was incorporated on 30 June 2004 to supply and install fire fighting, plumbing, air-conditioning and low voltage electrical services for Sarawak’s building industry. We are a CIDB Grade G7 contractor based in Pending, Kuching.
We run two lines of business: Project Contracting for developers, consultants and main contractors, and Home & Business Services for homes, shops and offices.
Our directors have worked in specialist M&E contracting in Sarawak since 1987. Their experience covers new installations and retrofits for office buildings, commercial complexes, government buildings, factories, hotels, hospitals, stadiums, condominiums, resorts and schools.
We have completed more than 100 building projects, including the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching, the DUN Sarawak complex, Sarawak General Hospital and Sarawak Energy’s power stations. We also keep systems working after handover, with monthly and quarterly maintenance contracts for clients such as Swinburne University, Hock Lee Centre and Riverside Shopping Complex.

Our directors begin running specialist fire fighting, cold and hot water and sanitary contracts in Sarawak.
- 2004
RSJ Engineering Sdn Bhd is incorporated on 30 June and registered with CIDB in September.
- 2005 – 2009
Fire protection, cold and hot water and soil and waste services for the new DUN Sarawak complex.
- 2007 – 2009
Fire protection and plumbing packages for the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching.
- 2021 – 2023
Fire fighting system enhancement for Sarawak Energy’s power plants at Sejingkat, Mukah and Miri.
- 2020 – 2024
JKR Sarawak awards us for 1,032,024 safe man-hours on the Integrated Administrative Centre, Sarikei.
- Today
Current projects include Ibraco Leisure Mall, Parq Residence, the Sarawak State Archive building and the Sarawak Performing Arts Centre.

The people behind every system we hand over
Our team of engineers, supervisors, technicians and office staff works from our office in Pending, Kuching.
Our directors started in fire fighting and plumbing contracting in 1987. Today they cover engineering, quantity surveying, project management, human resources and operations. On site, the work is carried out by BOMBA-certified competent persons, a certified chargeman and wireman, and experienced plumbers, pipe fitters and aircond technicians.
The people who install a system are the same people who service it. Clients deal with a team that knows their building, from tender and installation through BOMBA testing and years of maintenance.
